Adults Intro to Creative Writing (Online)
For Adults (18+)
Do you have a story you just have to get out? Or a play inside of you that's begging to be written? This weekly two hour course provides a crash course in writing for the stage, giving you all the tools required to write a play. Over the nine weeks, you will complete exercises, write pieces, and critique each others' work, as well as taking a deep dive into the craft and theory behind your favourite plays, with workshops on character, dialogue, story structure, settings, and the practical side of being a playwright.
Please note: This course is for fun, with no qualification outcome at the end.
Term Dates: April 9th to June 11th 2024 (10 Weeks)
Time: Every Tuesday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Location: Online via Zoom
