MIKE MCALPINE
Mike McAlpine is a Middlesbrough-born actor based in Germany. He trained at East 15 Acting School in London and performs in both German and English language productions. Recent work includes his self-penned solos “A Slice of Elvis” and “Drama Chameleon” (fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe!), Educating Rita (ETD), The Mousetrap (ETD), The Odd Couple (ETD), The Messiah (ETD), Der Zauberlehrling (WTT Remscheid), Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense (WTT Remscheid), Wie Steht’s, Mata Hari? (Horizont Theater, Köln), Hotel Happy German (Horizont, Köln), Eine Sommernacht (Horizont, Köln) and Der Kleine Lord (Kölner Künstler Theater). Mike is one half of the award-winning comedy/Kabarett duo Mike & Aydin (Nord-Süd-Gefälle, UN – Unvereinte Nationen and current show Nord-Süd-Gefühle) and one third of the long-running annual review show Jahresrück…Bla…Bla…
Mike lives with his family in Leverkusen.
